Hojo's will launch itself back into the hearts of Americans by reminding everyone about a long lost American tradition, the road trip. Howard Johnson's will become a beacon for those who dare to drive through states, rather than fly over them.

Howard Johnson's will have a collection of pulpy romance and western novels, each branded with the Howard Johnson's logo and look/feel.
If you buy one, you can trade it in for another at any other Howard Johnson's location.
HOWARD JOHNSON'S AND U-HAUL
Often times, people will only travel the country by car when they're moving. When it's a necessity. Hojo's would partner with U-HAUL and create custom branded U-HAUL trucks. The sides would be moving billboards for Howard Johnson's. In addition, we would create an incentive plan for U-HAUL drivers. If they stop at Howard Johnson's along their route, they can save on gas, rooms, or meals.
